Ricky Gervais has made a name for himself as an animal rights activist, once expressing a desire to “flamethrower the c**ts” in charge of a notorious dog meat festival.
Now he’s making waves again, challenging poachers who “pay to poach.”
The elephant above was killed by Walter Palmer, the same American dentist that paid to kill Cecil the Lion.
He flew to Zimbabwe for the sole purpose of stalking and killing this elephant – and he paid $60,000 to do it.
This didn’t sit well with Ricky.

The elephant poached by Palmer was the largest elephant killed on the continent in decades. He had 122 pound tusks and was a giant by all standards.
Kruger spokesman William Mbasa commented:
“The most disappointing thing is that when a local Zimbabwean kills an animal for food for his family, he is sentenced to between 5 and 15 years in prison but when a wealthy foreign hunter comes in and shoots an animal, he gets away with it. What message are we giving the people?”
